The new variant is priced at ₹1,45,999 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru), positioning it neatly between the entry-level 450S with a 2.9 kWh battery and the higher-end 450X model. This middle-ground option is tailored for riders who demand extended range and strong performance without necessarily opting for a high-end, software-rich model.

Remaining faithful to Ather’s signature style, the new 450S continues to showcase its sporty design DNA. It features sharp, angular bodywork, a dynamic riding posture, and full-LED lighting. Beneath the aggressive styling lies a powerful 5.4 kW motor delivering 22 Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 40 km/h in just 3.9 seconds and reaches a peak speed of 90 km/h, delivering a punchy and responsive ride.
To further enhance rider experience, the 450S offers four distinct riding modes: Smart Eco, Eco, Ride, and Sport. This gives riders the flexibility to prioritize either performance or efficiency based on traffic conditions and travel needs.

It boasts a crisp 7-inch DeepView Display that’s bright, responsive, and easy to read in all lighting conditions. Riders can also take advantage of Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and automatic brightness adjustment.
Safety and convenience features are a major highlight. The scooter includes AutoHold, Fall Safe, Emergency Stop Signal, auto indicator cut-off, theft and tow alerts, and a “Find My Scooter” feature for added peace of mind. Voice assistant fans will appreciate the integration with Amazon Alexa, while all digital functionalities are kept up-to-date via AtherStack Pro with regular over-the-air (OTA) updates.

One of the biggest draws of this variant is its extended range. With its larger 3.7 kWh battery pack, the scooter delivers an impressive IDC-certified range of up to 161 km on a single charge. For home charging, the 450S can go from 0 to 80% in just 4 hours and 30 minutes, offering a practical solution for daily riders.
In addition, Ather provides seamless access to its fast-expanding Ather Grid a public charging network with over 3,300 fast-charging stations across India. This ensures that long rides or unexpected detours won’t be limited by range anxiety.
Long-Term Confidence with Warranty and Service
The 450S 3.7 kWh is backed by the Ather Eight70 program, which provides an optional 8-year or 80,000 km warranty. This guarantees at least 70% battery health throughout the warranty period, reinforcing Ather’s confidence in the long-term durability of its products.

The new Ather 450S will be available at an ex-showroom price of ₹148,258 in Mumbai, ₹148,047 in Delhi, ₹145,999 in Bengaluru, and ₹147,312 in Chennai.
